Lately, I’ve had quite a few conversations with friends about the frustration of dealing with the never-ending laundry pile! As a mom of three kids – I often feel that the laundry is piling up by the minute. By the time I’m caught up, it seems like only a matter of minutes before I’m behind again!

The setup process only takes about 5 minutes using the app. All I had to do was load my laundry into a garbage bag, and hand it off to a driver! Later that same evening, my laundry was washed & folded beautifully and dropped on my doorstep!
The price point ($1.95) per pound is more than reasonable, and I will definitely be using this service during the weeks that my laundry pile gets out of control (like the upcoming baseball season)! I can also see this being a lifesaver when we return from vacations, and have suitcases full of clothes that need to be washed and folded.
Setting up the service is only a few clicks away:
- Download the Drop and Dash app for your iPhone or Google Play, or place an order on their website
- You’ll make an account and double check that the service delivers to your area
- From there you’ll select from four initial options: laundry by the pound, King/Queen comforter, Twin/Full comforter and pillow
- Select your drying methods and detergent preferences. You can choose standard dry, hang dry (for an extra fee) or unscented/hypoallergenic detergent for $3.00 extra
- Choose your pick and drop off times – same day turnaround is available for pickups scheduled before 2pm. Delivery is powered by uber – so I had no problem choosing the timeslots that worked best for me!
- If you choose laundry by the pound ($1.95/pound) you’ll be asked to approximate how many bags, assuming each bag weighs 20 pounds. We filled our laundry in garbage bags, and put it on the scale to get an estimate. They weigh it upon receipt and will adjust the price accordingly.
