Each dancer is adorned in a character costume and the Fairytale Ballet comes to life with coordinating music, props and dances. Mary Macaroni is one of Chicago’s premier family entertainers! She is a singer, songwriter, guitarist AND magician known for her catchy sing-a longs and hilarious magic! Her greatest skill is in her connection & rapport with the children she entertains, enthralling & captivating through performance and connection. She was recently voted as “Chicago’s Best Clown” in a vote by ChicagoKids.com.

In her show, kids get to help Mary Macaroni with magic tricks, shake shakers and dance with scarves along to rockin’ tunes and generally have the time of their lives! And she does face painting and balloon sculpting!!

Mary has over 400 appearances a year performing at festivals, birthday parties, corporate family days, libraries, park districts and community concerts as a soloist or with her band, Mary Macaroni and the Impastas! You will see her every summer at Chicago’s great street festivals, including Retro on Roscoe, Do Division, West Fest, Wicker Park Fest, Taste of Polonia, Ben Fest, Green Fest and more. Mary Macaroni has entertained for Carnival Cruise Lines, amusement parks, Navy Pier, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs, Spirit of Chicago and countless other corporate clients.  Her celebrity appearances include Mike Ditka, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Michael Jordan and the children and grandchildren of Jerry Springer, Joan Cusack and Chicago TV personalities, Allison Rosati and Roseanne Tellez. Mary is thrilled to have recently performed for our American troops which took her on a world tour that included Singapore, Diego Garcia and Bahrain.
